§ 02 — Service Ledger
What We Do
Three areas of work, each described plainly with scope, timeframe, and fixed pricing in Malaysian Ringgit.
Antique & Pocket Watch Restoration
Long-form work on key-wound, fusee and early wristwatch movements. Pivot hole bushing, repivoting, fusee chain cleaning, steel refinishing. Missing parts are hand-made or reconditioned — each replacement noted in the ledger with its origin.
- Suitable for family pieces not run in years
- Timeframe from six weeks, agreed in writing
- Option to stop at assessment stage
Water Resistance Restoration
Full gasket set renewal, case-back and crown thread inspection, worn tube replacement, dry and wet testing to confirm the case holds to its rating. Results are recorded as a measured figure, not a claim.
- For pieces used in humid conditions
- Honest assessment where rating cannot be restored
- Four to six working days
Cleaning, Inspection & Ledger Entry
External cleaning of case and bracelet, movement inspection under magnification, rate measurement on the timing machine, and a written ledger entry kept on file for future comparison. A sound first visit for owners who would prefer to know before spending further.
- Written report of findings retained on file
- Rate measured on calibrated timing machine
- No further obligation after assessment
§ 03 — Why This Workshop
Documented work. Plain answers. No assumptions.
Every job has a written entry
Work is recorded before anything is opened and retained on file. You can request the entry at any point. Future visits reference the same record.
Magnified inspection as standard
Movement condition is assessed under adequate magnification before a price is named. What is found informs the quote — not the other way around.
Rate measured, not estimated
Amplitude, beat error and rate are read from a timing machine and noted. Clients receive the figure, not a vague assurance that the watch runs well.
Parts provenance recorded
Whether a component is original, generic or reconditioned, the ledger entry says so plainly. Nothing is substituted without your knowledge and agreement.
Fixed pricing, agreed in writing
Timeframes and costs are agreed before any work begins. Restoration projects carry the option to stop at the assessment stage at no further charge.
Honest water resistance ratings
Where a case cannot be restored to its original rating, clients are told plainly. Test results are recorded as measured figures, not marketing language.
§ 04 — Open an Enquiry
Not sure what your watch needs?
The cleaning, inspection and ledger entry at RM 140 is a natural starting point. It produces a written record of condition before any repair decision is made, and there is no obligation to proceed further.
